The Design Cycle Process:
All students in Audio Production 2 will complete independent projects centered on the production of sound for a variety of purposes. All projects will be designed by students using the Design Cycle process of Investigating, Planning, Creating, and Evaluating.
Every student must complete written proposals for approval before beginning each phase of the Design Cycle. Also, students must write daily goals for progress, evaluate and assess those goals at the end of each class, and justify, in writing, a grade using evidence from their goal along with justification language (because, for reasons that, due to, etc...http://www.thesaurus.com/browse/because?s=t).
Career and Technical Education Workplace Skills:
CTE Audio is not just a class about the production of sound, but also, a class to ready students to be effective workplace members. Therefore, students daily work will be also be assessed for Career and Technical Education Workplace Skills. These skills include aspects of professionalism, communication, collaboration, organization, leadership, time management, and attendance, not simply for content and language.
